Laan Na Thai in Utah: Flavorful, Cozy, and Always Consistent
If you’re craving Thai food in Utah and want more than just your average takeout experience, Laan Na Thai is a gem worth checking out. Tucked into a quiet spot but full of flavor and heart, this cozy little restaurant serves up some of the best Thai food I’ve had in the state. Whether you’re a die-hard curry fan or a noodle lover, you’ll find something here to love.
A Go-To Spot for Years
I’ve been coming to Laan Na Thai for years now, and it’s one of those places that just never lets me down. It’s comforting to have a spot you can count on—where the food is always good, the staff is kind, and the experience feels familiar in the best way. Whether I’m grabbing a quick takeout order or sitting down for a relaxed meal, I always leave happy (and usually with leftovers). The space inside is small, with only a few stools for seating, but they have tables and chairs outside to enjoy your food when the weather is nice. Laan Na Thai is takeout based, and every plate is served in to-go containers with utensils and a cup of chili flakes.

A Menu Full of Favorites
One of the best things about Laan Na Thai is that you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I’ve tried a wide range of their dishes over several visits— massaman curry, pad thai, fresh rolls, crispy spring rolls, drunken noodles, chicken satay, and more—and every single one has been consistently delicious. The food is well-balanced, thoughtfully seasoned, and always tastes fresh. When you order a noodle dish, they provide you with a fresh lime to squeeze for a tangy flavor and a cup of chili flakes to up the spice level to your preference.
The Pad See Ew: A Personal Go-To
While everything on the menu is solid, I’d be lying if I didn’t give a little extra love to their Pad See Ew. The wide rice noodles are perfectly chewy and lightly charred from the wok, giving the dish that subtle smoky flavor that’s hard to beat. The sauce hits that sweet and savory balance, and the broccoli adds just the right touch of crunch and bitterness. It’s simple, comforting, and incredibly satisfying—but again, that’s just one of many great options here.

A Local Favorite You’ll Keep Coming Back To
There’s something really special about a place that delivers every time, and Laan Na Thai has become one of those dependable go-tos for me. It’s unpretentious, delicious, and comforting—all the things I want in a neighborhood Thai spot. If you’re in Utah and haven’t been yet, definitely add it to your list.
Try whatever sounds good—but don’t be surprised if you end up loving everything.
